About Your New Employer

Our world-renowned client needs a Privacy Specialist for their Cork office on a hybrid basis. This is a full-time, 6-month contract role that involves working for the Privacy & Compliance team.

You will be responsible for supporting the process for the handling of requests of customers and employees seeking access to their personal information.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, and possess the ability to resolve request issues in an effective and efficient manner.  Legal Specialists generally perform the key role tasks but will also be required to support other tasks as needed, providing assistance with the execution and implementation of related Legal projects.  

About Your new Job as Legal Privacy Specialist 

• Working with Privacy on the handling of requests from customers and employees for their personal data.
• Searching specified systems, as well as reaching out to relevant employees to retrieve appropriate information to include in responses. 
• Responding to standard-level requests with appropriate pre-prepared response templates.
• Escalating non-standard and exigent requests to appropriate management level.
• Recording and reporting on all requests, responses, and exceptional issues arising in relevant database.
• Recording and pulling reports on all requests, responses on the database.

The Skills/ Experience Needed  as Legal Privacy Specialist 

• Observe high levels of data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good at decision making and recognising issues that need to be escalated.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve conflict if needed.
• Have the ability to perform in an information sensitive environment.

What's On Offer?

• Excellent salary starting at €35k
• 39 hour week Monday-Friday
