About Your New Job

• This will be a Standalone IT Support Technician Role servicing circa 90 internal Staff, with additional support from the IT Manager when required.
• Facilitate the smooth operation of IT systems by promptly addressing issues and minimizing downtime.
• Configure, install, and test devices such as PCs and mobile devices, along with associated hardware, ensuring seamless integration.
• Support equipment relocation and configuration changes to accommodate evolving needs.
• Collaborate in the assessment, deployment, and testing of new PC packages and prototypes.
• Offer comprehensive in-house support to users on PC fundamentals, addressing routine to moderately complex inquiries, and resolving computer and networking issues promptly to maintain user productivity. Communication channels may include telephone, email, or in-person interactions.
• Ensure effective follow-up to resolve situations where standard procedures have proven ineffective in diagnosing or resolving problematic equipment or software installations.

What Skills You Need

• 5+ years IT Support Level 2 support experience
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferable, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of Office Products (e.g Microsoft suite, VBA)
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
